Suzanne Clark Bennett serves as Controller for Turner Creek Partners, overseeing financial reporting, accounting operations, internal controls, and capital management across the firm’s investment platform. She brings more than 30 years of executive financial leadership experience spanning complex, multi-entity organizations.
Ms. Bennett began her career in retail and legal industry accounting before advancing into senior leadership roles within large healthcare systems. She served as Controller of DeanCare HMO in Madison, Wisconsin, and was later recruited to Orlando Health in Orlando, Florida, where she held positions as Controller and ultimately Chief Financial Officer of Community HealthCare Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of Orlando Health. In these roles, she directed large-scale accounting operations, regulatory compliance, strategic planning initiatives, and financial oversight for multi-million-dollar enterprises.
She later joined AAA, Inc. as Managing Director, leading accounting, purchasing, and facilities operations across a diverse portfolio that included for-profit and nonprofit entities, investment management functions, publishing operations, and complex employee benefit plan administration. Her leadership focused on strengthening internal processes, improving operational efficiency, and driving strategic financial planning.
Ms. Bennett subsequently founded Red Gate, LLC, where she provides strategic financial consulting services to small and mid-sized businesses across industries including manufacturing, luxury residential construction, industrial services, and project management.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida, graduating with honors. Ms. Bennett is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Florida and Missouri and holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation.
